Empirical market study on software tools for integrated corporate reporting/benchmarking

Sustainability reporting (business, social and environmental aspects) can be efficiently supported by software tools. Software tools can considerably simplify and facilitate the determination of key figures as well as the creation and distribution of reports. Various solutions are already available on the market, such as

In the Diplom thesis, the functional scope as well as strengths and weaknesses of these solutions are to be analysed and benchmarked based on a comparison. In addition, it should be clarified where there is room for improvement of these commercial solutions. As a free alternative, the prototype developed at the chair based on open source software technologies such as XML, Java and Cocoon will be included in the analysis.
