Evaluation and prototypical implementation of wiki recommender functions

Wikis have established themselves as important social media applications in many companies and organisations. However, it is becoming increasingly apparent that the smaller the user community, the more difficult it is to retrieve information, as manually linking information is time-consuming and error-prone and also requires the information to be linked to be found in the first place. This problem is increasingly proving to be an obstacle to the successful use of company wikis.

The aim of this thesis is to investigate how recommender functionalities can be integrated into an OpenSAGA wiki, which make recommendations for other (especially not yet linked) wiki content that is relevant to the content of the currently viewed wiki page.
