Advanced monitoring functionalities for OpenSAGA based on SpringSource Hyperic HQ

The requirements for the professional monitoring of applications are to be analysed first. The SpringSource Hyperic HQ Suite will then be used as an example to show how these requirements can be mapped using a specific tool. In the next step, the monitoring capabilities of OpenSAGA are to be analysed and a requirement and functional specification for close integration with the Hyperic HQ Suite is to be drawn up. In the practical part of the work, selected extended monitoring options are to be implemented and evaluated as examples. Finally, recommendations for consistent support of complex monitoring functionalities are to be outlined.
