Model transformations from UML to OpenSAGA

Model transformations from UML to OpenSAGA

Bachelor/Master/Diploma thesis

Title

Model transformations from UML to OpenSAGA

Description of the

Even if OpenSAGA works with its own modelling approaches, these are sufficiently compatible with Uml so that an automatic transformation from UML to OpenSAGA models is conceivable. In the context of this work, XMI (XML Metadata Interchange) will first be analysed and described as the basis for the exchange of UML model information. Subsequently, a concept is to be developed and prototypically implemented that enables an automated transformation of central UML models into OpenSAGA models (class diagrams into domain and relation models, activity diagrams into process models, etc.). In particular, differences between the two modelling approaches will be discussed. Finally, extension possibilities for future OpenSAGA versions are to be described in order to support advanced UML features.
