The following work steps could be the focus of your master's thesis:
- Interface analysis:
Here it is important to analyse and document which interfaces are involved, synchronous or asynchronous interfaces. - Quing concept:
Here it will be necessary to analyse which system should theoretically be responsible for the quing. - Monitoring concept:
Best practices proposal regarding the monitoring of interfaces. Perhaps there are additional products on the market that are suitable for monitoring such interfaces.
The interfaces mentioned above are mapped via our CEWE Enterprise Service Bus (SAP PI).
The interfaces are web service interfaces.
The interfaces are realised between the following systems:
- IBM WebSphere Commerce (e-commerce platform)
- Cash register management system in Poland (possibly also Czech Republic)
- CEWE SAP ERP
