Investigating the scalability of OpenSAGA-based applications

OpenSAGA as a standard platform for SAGA-compliant and Java-based web applications in public administration is exposed to very different load scenarios. Within the scope of the work, various load scenarios are first to be outlined (e.g. parallel access by very large numbers of users, uploads of documents several gigabytes in size, etc.). For these scenarios, test tools are to be selected with which automated tests can be designed. Such tests are to be written and executed. Based on identified vulnerabilities, improvements for the OpenSAGA infrastructure are to be proposed and also implemented as prototypes. Finally, the scalability is to be assessed.
