The Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg, OFFIS - Institute for Information Technology and Jade University of Applied Sciences are striving to intensify the mutual exchange with economy, society, authorities and cultural institutions in the joint project "Innovative Hochschule Jade- Oldenburg!" and thus to increase the innovative power of the region. The "Innovative Hochschule" initiative is supported by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF).

The subproject "Innovation(s)Labor digital" is integrated into the department Business Information Systems (VLBA). Its aim is to provide information    on current research and to demonstrate the applications and potentials of digitization.
