Dr Hans-Peter (Igor) Waldl
About the person / career
Dr Waldl holds a Diplom degree in physics and a Dr. rer. nat. degree (topic: "Modelling the power output of wind farms"). Until mid-2001, he was a research assistant responsible for wind energy research at the Department of Physics at the University of Oldenburg. He has worked on a large number of national and international research projects and international capacity-building projects, some of which he has led. At Overspeed, Dr Waldl is responsible for the areas of wind and solar power forecasting and storage technologies in addition to managing the company.
Dr Waldl has been a lecturer at the University of Oldenburg for wind energy applications in the "Postgraduate Programme Renewable Energies" since 1994 and is a member of the course management and teaching staff of the "Further Education in Wind Energy Technology and Management".
