Ms Telsche Nielsen has been working as a research assistant at Fraunhofer IWES in the area of
know-how transfer since 2008, where she is responsible for the development of advanced scientific training and the establishment of university collaborations. She studied mathematics and physics in Freiburg and Oldenburg and specialised in university didactics and renewable energies. Before joining the Fraunhofer IWES, she worked as a research assistant at the Department of Electrical Engineering at the University of Kassel. Among other things, she led the project to establish the bi-cultural degree programme M. Sc. Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency for the Middle East and North Africa. At Fraunhofer IWES, she established several study programmes, such as the Online Master Wind Energy Systems with the University of Kassel. She is currently developing and leading co-operation projects with universities and colleges, e.g. research on sustainable maritime mobility and further education on hydrogen production.
