The documents are exclusively available to students of the WiRe degree programmes at the University of Oldenburg. WiRe-Ersti Buddy Programme

Hello and welcome to the WiRe department at the University of Oldenburg!

We - Lilian, Lena and Julian - are your first-year buddies and are available to answer any questions you may have about your studies in your first semester (e.g. registering for courses, deciding which modules to take, uncertainties regarding the management of studies). We are part of the student advisory service offered by the WiRe department and will support you together with your student advisor Dr Mareike Junker. The First Semester Buddy Programme is aimed at first-semester students on the B.A. BWLjur, B.A. WiWi and M.A. BWL degree programmes.

Over the course of the semester, we also have various information and exchange offers for you that will give you orientation and help you with important topics. You will receive up-to-date information on this in good time via your University of Oldenburg e-mail address and also here on our website.

My name is Lena Riesenbeck and I am your Freshman Buddy on the Business Law degree programme. I graduated this year and am now studying for a Master's degree in Business Administration: Management and Law (specialising in Business Law) at the University of Oldenburg.

My name is Lilian Schepermann and I am your Fresher Buddy in the WiWi degree programme. I completed my Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Economics in 2023 and am studying for a Master's degree in Business Administration: Management and Law (specialising in corporate management) at the University of Oldenburg.

My name is Julian Gerwing and I am your first-year buddy on the Business Administration: Management and Law degree programme. I'm studying for a Master's degree in Business Administration (specialising in Corporate Management) at the University of Oldenburg and am currently in my final semester.
