We offer the opportunity to write a Bachelor- und Masterthesis in case your topic is related to our research field of Commons and especially Economy of the Commons. Thematic links to our projects RightSeeds and EGON are desirable but not necessary. 

We are looking forward to discuss your own proposal. As a rough framing for our thesis, please use at least one of the following topics / fields:

• Commons
• Ecological Economics
• Social-ecological transformation
• Ethics of equity and the Capability Approach
• Governance in a Multi-Level System
• Management of Biodiversity und Ecosystemservices
• Sustainable Agriculture
• Economic Questions related to Seeds and Varieties

If you are interested in writing your thesis in our working group, please develop a one-page draft of your idea, containing your (rough) research question, your goal and the first steps of your approach for the thesis. If you receive a positive feedback, the development of and Exposé - based on your first draft - will be the next step.  We offer comprehensive supervision as well as frequent exchange with other students during the concomitant bachelor-/master colloquium.
