This was the title of a joint lecture series, spanning several semesters, organised by academics from the Universities of Bremen and Oldenburg who specialise in women’s and gender studies.
The format of the series involved two academics speaking on related research topics: the Bremen-based academic in Oldenburg, followed the next week by the Oldenburg-based academic in Bremen. Each event was moderated by the local colleague.
The Bremen–Oldenburg lunchtime lectures (so called because of the time of day at which they took place) were an expression of the productive collaboration between the Centre for Feminist Studies at the University of Bremen, the Centre for Interdisciplinary Women's and Gender Studies at the University of Oldenburg (ZFG) and the Master’s degree programme in Women’s and Gender Studies and the postgraduate degree programme in Cultural Studies of Gender at the University of Oldenburg. The series brought together research and teaching content from both universities.

This conceptually ambitious lecture series ran successfully from the winter semester 2000/01 to the summer semester 2003.
