In this task, you will hear an isolated instrument (Cue), followed by a musical mixture. One instrument in the mixture contains a tremolo. Your task is to judge whether the instrument presented as the cue is the one playing with tremolo in the mixture.

▼ How to

    Start a session and judge the notes of the cued instrument had a tremolo or not.

  1. Press "Start" to start a experiment demonstration with a mixture mode.
  2. Mode:
    • Heterogenous: melodies in the mixture are played by instruments of heterogenous timbre.
    • Homogenous: melodies are in the mixture are played by instruments of homogenous timbre.
  3. The demonstration starts at a randomly selected number of melodies present in the mixture.
  4. Simuli consist of a target cue, a pause, and a mixture of melodies.
  5. For each stimulus, judge whether notes of the cued instrument had a tremolo.
  6. A total of 3 stimuli are presented throughout the demonstration.
