Abstract
However necessary it is, the protection
of nature in a urban space can´t be imagined in terms of a pre-established
schedule. Places of living that witness the spontaneous appearance of an
urban fauna and flora as well as their development are unpredictable. They
are vagabond spaces and as such, their existence is likewise temporary.
This kind of protection of nature stands a chance of coming to light only
if a rethinking of contemporary urbanism takes place that will lead to
its replacement with a dialectic alternation between construction and decay
process.
