Workshop Prototyping and MVP
Let’s start digital" is a new event series exploring the various aspects of digitalization and the possibilities to create your own project. This semester, the series will take place from 09.06.2022 - 30.06.2022 with a focus on microcomputers and is explicitly aimed at all students without a computer science background. By participating in all events you can aquire a certificate.
Microcomputers are small computers, usually the size of a finger or a credit card, equipped with (micro-)USB ports, microSD card slots and sometimes even graphics ports. They require little energy, are versatile and therefore particularly popular with hobbyists and prototypers. Today, microcomputers are one of the drivers of digitization. The diverse possibilities and the good accessibility facilitates the start of own projects even among non-computer scientists.
The series includes four events. Two (hybrid) Trend-Talks, in which experts provide insights into the possibilities of micro-computers in both research and practice. As well as two full-day workshops, in which you are actively gaining your own experience with programming Arduinos and prototyping. The workshops also include free catering including lunch, snacks, drinks and a food packet for the travelers‘ trip back.
