The mentoring programme is opened by patron Prof. Dr.-Ing. Astrid Nieße, Deputy Director of OLTECH from School II-Department of Informatics.
Mentoring is a proven and effective tool for supporting early-career researchers and leadership development. Mentoring is based on the informal transfer of experience and knowledge and the individual support of an early-career researcher (mentee) by an individual, with academic or professional experience (mentor).
The official opening and introduction of the programme will be in presence at 21. & 22. November 2022. At the following page, you will find all dates of the one-year programme: more information
During the mentoring programme, you will get some additional coaching hours and the possibility to join “fireside chats” or additional workshops. Finally, you will get 6 credit points and a certificate.

For application send a motivation letter and the application form for mentees to the coordinator of the OLTECH graduate school: Dr. Ferdinand Esser: . Before you apply, make sure that you have no other meetings / conferences on these dates. This programme is quite expensive and a cancellation increases costs and organisational efforts.
