Sascha Köpken (Startup Coach, University of Oldenburg)

Sascha Köpken studied International Economics with a focus on Development Economics at the University of Göttingen. During his Master’s degree, he discovered his passion for startups and startup ecosystems and has since been involved with them in a variety of ways. His strengths lie in the structured development of business models, asking the right questions and always keeping an eye on the project context.

Dr. Jochen Meyer (Division Manager Health, OFFIS e. V.)

Jochen Meyer studied computer science and completed his doctorate at the Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg. After working as a software developer in a medium-sized software house in Hamburg, he has been at OFFIS since 1995. There, he became involved with internet technologies early on, initially in the context of digital libraries. From 1998 to 2008 he was head of the department “Multimedia and Internet Information Services”. After restructuring, he has headed the “Health” department since 2008, with around 40 researchers and numerous regional, national and international projects. His research interests lie in particular in the fields of technologies for prevention and wellbeing, ambient assisted living and personal media use.

Roland Hentschel (CEO, OLEC e. V.)

As the long-standing Chairman of the Board of the Oldenburg Energy Cluster OLEC e.V., Roland Hentschel is a proven expert on the (supra-)regional energy industry and the upcoming challenges for shaping an energy system of the future. As head of the Regional Development Department, he is responsible for strengthening the innovative capacity and regional positioning of the city of Oldenburg. This also includes the regional cooperation of companies with universities and scientific institutions and the strengthening of future viability through technology transfer and the linking of industries through networks.

Sabrina Ruh (Project Manager, smart insights GmbH)

Sabrina Ruh discovered her passion for market research while studying sociology and social research at the University of Bremen. During seven years as a project manager, qualitative work became her hobbyhorse and since 2017 she has expanded the smart insights team as a result. In addition to a fondness for opera, she also collects records of all other music genres and makes her way while hiking all over the world. Her core competencies lie in the areas of innovation & business development, customer surveys, qualitative methods, study design, and data analysis.

Jeroen Langejan (Startup Coach, University of Oldenburg)

Jeroen Langejan holds a major in business administration from the University of Groningen and worked in and with various tech related startups from Germany and abroad. Jeroen coached a wide range of early stage tech startups for an incubator in Berlin and is currently working as a startup coach in Oldenburg. He is particularly experienced in the early stage funding process and is keen to share his insights, how to secure funding through subsidies, grants as well as investments from business angels and venture capital firms.


Irene Bejenke Walsh

Irene Bejenke Walsh has worked as a venture and executive coach for over 20 years, founded her firm MessageLab in London in 2000, and has taken it international. Irene specializes in fundraising and investor communications and has advised more than 800 startups and SMEs across a wide range of industries, as well as assisting with more than a dozen IPOs. Her experience ranges from advising early-stage founders (pre-seed and seed) to multi-digit million venture capital rounds, as well as spin-offs from established companies and academia (tech transfer).

Daniel Kraft (Founder and CEO, Moinland)

Daniel is the founder of Moinland, a community of startup CEOs, providing coaching to entrepreneurs throughout their entire start journey. 

He has been the founder and CEO of multiple startups, some successful and all leading to great learning experiences. His track record includes an IPO, pivots, spin-offs and several M&As.

Bastian Wilkat (Venture Developer, EWE AG)

Bastian Wilkat is a “Venture Developer” for the energy and utilities company EWE AG and Business-Advisor for SMEs. He loves innovative technologies and business models and lives with his wife and two cats near Oldenburg.

Kajan Manickavasagar (Program Manager MeVis Startups)

Kajan is working as product manager for MeVis Medical Solutions AG and responsible for the healthcare accelerator program “MeVis Startups”.
He knows the startup scene in Germany very well and is always looking for motivated entrepreneurs and innovative ideas to support.
“I am happy to share my expertise in this event with aspiring entrepreneurs worldwide.”

Norman Caspari (Co-Founder and Managing Director, VetVise GmbH)

Norman is one of the Co-Founders of VetVise. The team started with an EXIST-Gründerstipendium 2019 at the University of Oldenburg with support of University for Veterinary Medicine Hanover for developing telemedicine and machine-learning algorithms for small animals and horses. Eventually, VetVise focussed on improving animal health, welfare and farm efficiency in the pig and poultry production by leveraging deep learning technology and veterinary knowledge. Today, they are financed by customer projects, research grants and investor funds. 

Norman studied Engineering Physics and Biomedical Engineering. At VetVise he is responsible for all Business related. His passion is equestrian sports.


Aard Groen (Dean Entrepreneurship, Rijksuniversiteit Groningen)

Aard Groen is Dean entrepreneurship and holds a full professor position on entrepreneurship & valorization at the University of Groningen. Aard is a(n inter-)national leader in designing successful entrepreneurship accelerators and university entrepreneurship education programs. Furthermore, he is adviser to several startups and growing companies and in advice/selection committees for example for EIT-Manufacturing, NOW Netherlands Science Foundation, and SNN (Northern Netherlands Alliance).

Lennard Drogendijk (Founder and Chairman, inqubator Leeuwarden)

Lennard Drogendijk is the founder and head coach at inqubator. With his over 20 years of experience as an entrepreneur himself, he has an enormous range of skills to draw upon.

Tina Zandstra (Referent Innovation Workshop, Innovative Hochschule Jade-Oldenburg)

Tina Zandstra is the programme officer for the Innovation(s) Workshop at the Innovative Hochschule Jade-Oldenburg. She fills the project’s Innovation Campus, which is also a suitable contact point for prospective founders, with life. It offers space to work together on ideas and concepts in an uncomplicated atmosphere and without pressure to succeed. Tina therefore always has her finger on the pulse and knows a lot about business models and startups.

Benny's passion is to support entrepreneurs in the northwest region of Germany along their mission to shape our future in a better way.He has 10 years of experience within the startup ecosystem of Oldenburg in different roles, e.g. co-founder, startup employee, startup coach, research associate.Now he is responsible for the business incubator of ZUKUNFT.unternehmen - a place where innovative projects find a home.
