The Dortmund Data Bank (short DDB) is a factual data bank for thermophysical data for pure components and mixtures from original sources.
Several parts of the DDB have been created at the chair of technical chemistry at the Carl von Ossietzky university and, before 1989, at the university of Dortmund in different scientific projects. The current maintainer is DDBST GmbH, a company founded  and owned by Prof. Dr. Jürgen Gmehling.
