Apply for the exchange with our partner universities in the USA or Canada in 2024/25 from 17.10. until 21.11.2023
Please note that we are constantly exchanging information on current national and university regulations with our international partner universities and we will inform you when we receive information that is relevant for your stay. We will also send you any information we receive regarding the application and exchange process. In certain cases, other entities may be responsible (e.g. embassies in the case of visa matters). In such cases, please consult us to avoid unnecessary costs or other consequences
We can only accept applications during the official application period.
Application documents
Your application consist of two steps:
Step 1: Online application
Please complete the online application (only available in German)
Step 2: Document upload into Cloud Storage
Prior to uploading your documents in the university's cloud storage, please merge the documents into a single pdf file. The file should be named as follows: NA_24-25_lastname_firstname.pdf
Following documents are required:
- Cover form for the application (pdf form)
- Letter of motivation (max. 2 pages; please include the following aspects: reasons for choosing the three universities, choice of courses at the partner universities, how does your stay abroad link in to your degree programme at the University of Oldenburg, language skills, what do you expect from your stay)
- Curriculum vitae
- Language certificate
- Current transcript of records
- Enrolment certificate (University of Oldenburg) for the current semester
Further requirements
- Make sure to mention whether you will also apply for BAföG or Auslands-BAföG.
