The Institute of Mathematics at the Carl von Ossietzky University in Oldenburg, invites applications for a postdoctoral position for a period of three years as

Scientific assistant (wissenschaftliche/r Mitarbeiter/in)
(Entgeltgruppe 13 TV-L, 100% of regular working hours)

with a starting date as soon as possible.

The successful candidate is expected to conduct research in a field of geometric, microlocal or singular analysis.

Requirements: A qualifying university degree (diploma or master) and a successful Ph.D. in a relevant area of mathematics are required.

Tasks: In addition to research, the tasks of the future candidate will include teaching in German and English, especially in the field of analysis. This includes participation in the institute's lectures and seminars, in examinations and in the guidance and counseling of tutors and students. In addition, active participation in the analysis work group is expected.

The teaching obligation is based on LVVO.
