The Institute of Dutch Studies in the School of Linguistics and Cultural Studies of Oldenburg University invites applications for the full-time position of a

Postdoc (m/f/d)
(Salary group E 13 TV-L)

The appointment will be for three years and the position is to be filled as soon as possible. It offers - in combination with the tasks it has to deliver within the project - the possibility for further qualification (for example "Habilitation").



  • an outstanding doctoral degree in Dutch literary studies and a master's degree in Dutch (or equivalents in neighboring disciplines as Literary sociology, Literary studies, Cultural history etc.);
  • outstanding knowledge of the Dutch language for the research on Dutch sources;
  • excellent team-spirit and ability to cooperate.

Affinity with literary sociology and experiences in the domain of Digital Humanities are welcome.
