The Department of Economics at the University of Oldenburg invites applications for 2 positions as a
Research Associate (m/f/d)
salary level 13 TV-L (100 %)
at the chairs of Public Economics (Prof. Dr. Carsten Helm) and Economic Policy (Prof. Dr. Christoph Böhringer). The positions are available at the earliest possible date for a period of 3 years, with the option of an extension for further 3 years. The positions serve the qualification of young scientists with the aim of earning a doctoral degree in economics. With a strong profile in the field of environmental and energy economics (4 economics professorships, 2 study courses) we offer an excellent research environment. - An above-average Master's degree in economics or a related discipline, e.g., mathematical economics or business informatics (applications from candidates who will shortly complete their studies will also be considered).
- A solid basic knowledge of mathematics and a pronounced interest in scientific research.
- It is advantageous to have a course specialisation in one of the following areas: environmental and energy economics, microeconomics, public economics, and economic policy.
