The Department of Computing Science in the School of Computing Science, Business Administration, Economics and Law (School II) invites applications for a
W2 Professorship (m/f/d)
as soon as possible.
We are looking for a personality from the field of systems-engineering, with an outstanding international qualification in both safety and security. Extensive research experience in one or more of the following areas is preferred:
- In-depth knowledge of the relevant procedures and processes for proving system security and resilience of safety-critical systems against cyber-attacks
- Human factors in the development of safety-critical systems
- Integration of the design of user interfaces into the threat analysis
The candidate is expected to have relevant teaching experience and is further expected to participate in teaching bachelor and master courses in computer science in German and English.
Proven experience in the acquisition and execution of third-party funded projects is expected. An integration into the research agenda of the university is expected, in particular through contributions to the university's research center "Human-Cyber-Physical Systems: Safety, Acceptance, Social and Cultural Embeddedness". There are excellent opportunities for networking at the University of Oldenburg for basic and applied research. In addition, the research institute OFFIS offers excellent opportunities in application-oriented research. Candidates should be willing to actively participate in the university's self-administration.
