Ottawa-Hull Photo Gallery (2000)

I have spent many pleasant years in Ottawa, Canada's capital. Here are some pictures that I've taken recently.

Go ahead, click on the individual images to see them up close!

Flags flagging in the wind at the National Art Gallery. View of the Hotel Château Laurier, a famous landmark in downtown Ottawa.

Every spring, Ottawa plays host to the Tulip Festival, an extravaganza of colours.

Parents love having their adored ones poses with the tulips. Tulips.
More tulips. Even more tulips.

We used to go to Wakefield, a small village about 20 minutes by car from Ottawa for breakfast on Sundays. Not only did this restaurant have delicious waffles, but the village has a beautifuly reconstructed wooden covered bridge (the original one burned down a few years ago).

View from inside the covered bridge, complete with shadow effects. View from the bridge.
Shadows on the bridge.

A few kilometers from Ottawa, a private zoological reserve called Parc Oméga welcomes visitors to their beautiful surroundings.

A beast close-up! Two beasts up-close!
