After having completed their degrees, many international students at the University of Oldenburg are interested in staying and working in Germany. But even before graduation, many questions and concerns might pop up: How does an application in Germany work? Where can I look for job openings? Are there differences in applying in Germany compared to my home country? And what do I need to know about the specifics of the job market in Lower Saxony?
The workshop “Applying for Jobs in Germany” will address the questions above. Participants will…
- receive information on how to prepare for an application in Germany,
- explore strategies of job searching, and
- get an overview of the job market in Lower Saxony.
The workshop will include both theoretical input and practical advice.
The workshop will be held in German and English.
