Anyone going abroad via the University of Oldenburg can tag their own posts and snapshots on social media using the #uolweltweit hashtag. Selfies on the campus of the host university, in front of a special backdrop or in a temporary working environment are great for this.

Short-term stays / internationalisation at home

If you are unable to spend a longer period abroad for specific reasons or have less time available, take the opportunity to go abroad for a shorter period. You may also want to gather some impressions first before deciding on a longer stay abroad. You have the following options for this:

Language courses and summer schools (in German)

Funding opportunities from the International Office

Or get a taste of "international air" right here in Oldenburg. Help internationals find their way around Oldenburg, take part in the language café, join a language tandem or simply enjoy the summer at the International Summer Fest - it's all about creating connections between international and local students.

Internationalisation at home

for student teachers

Are you studying to be a teacher? In addition to our classic funding formats, which you are also welcome to use, there are other subject-specific programs for studying abroad as a teacher.

Internationalisation of teacher training project (Lehramt International)
