Graduate Academy

The Graduate Academy of the Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg

The Graduate Academy is the central and transdisciplinary institution of the university that supports the career development of early career researchers in all phases and from all schools. Its program is open to all early career researchers of the university and offers transdisciplinary workshops on transferable skills relevant for various academic career paths. In line with the Oldenburg Model of Competences the Graduate Academy aims to support early career researchers in the development of their own profile and in the acquisition/deepening of transdisciplinary competences that they have partly acquired/will partly acquire as part of their disciplinary education. The University of Oldenburg is convinced that the combination of disciplinary and transdisciplinary competences prepares early career researchers in the best way possible for their further career. On top of this, the university's two graduate schools offer subject-related, interdisciplinary workshops for the doctoral candidates of the respective schools.

All workshops of the Graduate Academy can be attended free of costs from now on!
