Career counselling of the Study and Career Counselling Service

The University’s Study and Career Counselling Service is committed to providing the best possible support for students, graduates and doctoral candidates to help them navigate the world of work and plan their future careers.

What we can do for you

Our goal is to work with our target groups to refine their professional profiles, develop strategies to pursue successful career paths and improve their own decision-making skills.

Tailored advice for different target groups

The ZSKB’s career counselling service is divided into the following units, each of which caters to different target groups and focuses on resolving their concerns:

  • Advice on career planning for students at the beginning of their Bachelor’s or Master’s programme, students in the middle or the graduation phase of their Bachelor’s or Master’s programme, and recent graduates (up to one year after graduation)

Career planning for students

  • Advice for doctoral candidates on career paths within and outside academia as well as for excellent Master’s students and graduates interested in pursuing a doctorate
