Hinweise zum Inhalt der Veranstaltung für Gasthörende
Vögel spielen in der Grundlagenforschung und im Naturschutz eine wichtige Rolle. Die Vorlesung vermittelt anhand von Einzelfallbeispielen die vielfältigen physiologischen Anpassungsleistungen von Vögeln an ihre Umwelt, ihre Ernährung, ihre Habitatwahl, Aspekte der Kommunikation, den Vogelzug, ihre Fortpflanzungsökologie, Lebensstrategien, Populationsbiologie und Vögel als Bioindikatoren sowie verschiedene Bereiche aus ihrer Verhaltensökologie, von sexueller Selektion über Paarungssysteme bis zu Helfersystemen.
Hinweise zur Teilnahme für Gasthörende
Die Vorlesung wird in englischer und deutscher Sprache gehalten. Für Gasthörer besteht keine Verpflichtung zu einem Seminarvortrag.
