On 18 and 19 June 2024, a total of 976 employees (37 civil servants and 939 employees) took part in the early election of the Staff Council. This corresponds to a voter turnout of 35.95% (+3.60%) compared to the election on 28/29 February 2024).

In the group of civil servants, the election proposal "Mitbestimmen! Wahlbündnis: ver.di, GEW, Mittelbauinitiative, ProSignal and Friends" received 16 votes and thus 1 seat. 21 voters voted in favour of the election proposal "ZUG - Zusammen Universität Gestalten". This results in 1 seat. The elected members of the Staff Council are Wiebke Fischer and Halil Ege.

In the group of employees, votes were cast in favour of the election proposal "Mitbestimmen! electoral alliance: ver.di, GEW, Mittelbauinitiative, ProSignal and Friends" 516 votes. This results in 7 seats. The election proposal "ZUG - Zusammen Universität Gestalten" (ZUG - Shaping the University Together) received 420 votes and 6 seats. The elected members of the Staff Council are Dr. Dobrinka Genevska-Hanke, Lena Haug, Rea Kodalle, Silvia Kreysing, Stefanie Lefherz, Mareike Pleuß, Katja Warnken, Hauke Fischer, Nicolas Marken, Eike, Mayland-Quellhorst, Nico Müller, Martin Niemeyer und Thomas Schneeberg.
