The interdisciplinary qualification programme offered by the Graduate Academy for the career development of doctoral candidates, postdoctoral researchers and junior professors comprises around 40 events and workshops each year. In addition, the Graduate Academy offers annually changing mentoring programmes and provides various e-learning courses and tools as well as measures to ensure equal opportunities. Finally, the graduate schools 3GO and OLTECH offer subject-specific workshops for doctoral candidates.

Terms and Conditions of the Graduate Academy
Due to current events, please note: registrations for our workshops is binding. In case of an unexcused non-appearance, we reserve the right to block you from logging in for the following 12 months. 
After successfully completing a course offered by the Graduate Academy, you will receive a certificate of attendance. If you attend more than one course, we can also issue an overall certificate, listing all your courses; in this case, please contact us for further information.

...in teaching and learning in higher education!

The team at Teaching and Learning in Higher Education (Hochschuldidaktik) offers a qualification programme, workshops, materials, exchange formats and (individual) consultation appointments for university lecturers. In addition to fundamental topics of university didactics, other focal points include research-based learning, gender & diversity and teaching and learning with digital media.
The Day of Teaching and Learning (TdLL) brings together lecturers, students and other interested parties. Particularly successful courses are honored at the Teaching Award.

...through cooperation with BYRD / University of Bremen!

Since 2016, there has been a cooperation agreement between the universities of Bremen and Oldenburg in the area of graduate support. Doctoral candidates and postdocs at the University of Oldenburg can therefore take advantage of the BYRD (Bremen Early Career Researcher Development) qualification programmes.
