Special admission requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Slavic Studies, Slavic Philology or East European Studies or in a closely related field worth at least 60 credit points
- Language proficiency in Polish or Russian or another Slavic language, when applying for the winter semester at least at level B1 , when applying for the summer semester at least at level B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).

With a first degree from Germany you need to apply online from December 15th, 2024 until March 31st, 2025 for the beginning of Sommersemester 2025.Your documents need to be at the University of Oldenburg until March 31st, 2025.
Transferring into a higher semester is only possible
- if you had studied already in a same degree programme or
- if you have gained already credits from another degree programme and the Examinations Office of the University of Oldenburg will confirm the recognition of study periods and examinations.
