Carl von Ossietzky Guest Lectureship Programme
Internationalisation of teaching, expansion of the range of courses offered in terms of subject, methodological and foreign language aspects, and intensification of cooperation with our partner universities – these are the goals that the University of Oldenburg pursues with the Carl von Ossietzky Guest Lectureship Programme (financed from study quality funds).
As a rule, the programme supports guest stays of researchers from partner universities from non-European countries. If you would like to involve someone in teaching who does not come from a partner university, please contact us for advice before applying. The guest lectureships are open to all disciplines.
New: In addition to the proven system of supporting stays in Oldenburg by subsidising travel and accommodation costs, funding is now also available for digital teaching assignments from abroad!
You can find all important information on objectives, funding conditions, funding benefits and application procedures in our information sheet (in German) and application form.
Upon completion of the guest lectureship, a report must be submitted to the International Office.
