Writing groups
In the writing groups, you can meet once a week with like-minded peers to discuss topics such as text excerpts, the central theme, academic language, or writing strategies. Above all, however, you will continue working on your text and discover that writing with others is not only fun and can spark new ideas, but is also effective and productive.
This program is designed for bachelor’s and master’s students and is led by a peer writing tutor. The prerequisite is that you are currently working on a writing project.
Please note: At present the Writing lab | Natural sciences, mathematics and technology is the only service in two languages (German and English).
Work structuring groups
Are you finding it difficult to keep up with your coursework? Do you catch yourself cleaning when you should actually be studying? Do you struggle with perfectionism or a lack of motivation?
In cooperation with the Psychological Counselling Service and the Student Health Management, we organise Work structuring groups for students who are struggling with their coursework. One of the groups is specifically designed for international students and is conducted in English. The groups meet weekly and are led by trained peer tutors.
Due to high demand, please expect waiting times. You can sign up for an initial consultation at any time by email.
