Malena Ripken awarded Postgraduate Researcher Best Presentation Prize at Royal Geographical Society Annual Conference 2018
We are delighted to share that COAST researcher Malena Ripken recently won the 2018 annual CMRG Postgraduate Researcher Best Presentation Award at Royal Geographical Society Annual Conference for her talk titled: “The ‘Living Q’ – An Interactive Method for Actor Engagement in Transnational Marine Spatial Planning”.
The ‘Living Q’ is a method that aims to enhance transnational marine spatial planning processes. It allows interactive dialogue among stakeholders in a playful, communicative and living environment. ‘Living Q’ sessions showed benefits for comparison of MSP approaches and understanding of principles which drive planning in practice.
