Working Group on Research Data Management
The Working Group on Research Data Management (AG FDM) serves to exchange information on current developments in the field of RDM, both within the university and on a national level. In addition, the working group promotes networking between the Schools and the central institutions of the UOL. The AG FDM identifies the needs of the UOL in the area of RDM and advises the Presidential Board. It is open to all those interested in RDM. If you are interested in participating, please contact openscience@uol.de.
BIS - Library and Information System
The BIS supports researchers at the Carl von Ossietzky by providing the institutional research data repository DARE as well as consulting and training services on all topics of research data management.
Scientific computing
Scientificresearch is based on large individual data sets that are created in laboratories, in nature, through experiments, observations or measurements, and simulations. At the same time, the field is characterised by interdisciplinary projects with a growing need for data exchange. To meet these challenges, the School V - School of Mathematics and Science offers a central advisory service for research data management.
Research Data Management for the Institute for Chemistry and Biology of the Marine Environment (ICBM)
Institute-wide solutions for archiving and publishing research data are prepared by the ICBM data management team. The data management coordinator organises training workshops and serves as a first point of contact for any data related questions.
Service Agency Research Data Management for Medicine and Health Sciences
Research with health data is sometimes subject to special regulatory requirements, for example in the areas of ethics, data protection, pharmaceutical law and medical device law. Against this background, the School VI - School of Medicine and Health Sciences hasset up a service centre with specialised advisory and other services for its researchers.
