The University of Oldenburg's Start-up and Innovation Centre (GIZ), together with the with the NIK - Netzwerk Innovation und Gründung im Klimawandel to the Sustainable Entrepreneurship School from 23 November to 27 November at the TGO (Technologie- und Gründerzentrum). It is aimed at people interested in founding a company with a sustainable business idea from the universities in the north-west region.
This year's school is specifically designed for those interested in starting a business with a "green" business idea. With the help of a number of expert presentations on key topics relating to sustainable business start-ups, participants will be able to take an in-depth look at their idea and expand their knowledge. These include stakeholder management, dealing with tax and legal aspects and the Eco Quick Check.
In addition, the various funding opportunities that can be used to provide financial support for the start-up project are presented. Participants also have time to further develop their business idea with the input they have gained. They will be supported by experienced coaches and experts in the field of sustainability and prepared for a convincing presentation of their business idea. The event ends with a pitch of the business ideas and results in front of an expert jury of representatives from science and business.
