The Presidential Board of the Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg endorses the statement of the Executive Board of the German Rectors' Conference.
„Liberal democracy and the rule of law are the immovable pillars of our country and its institutions. They are also an essential prerequisite for the existence of a competitive and internationally compatible German higher education system.” This is what the Executive Board of the German Rectors' Conference (HRK) unequivocally emphasizes in its statement on 23 January against the backdrop of increasingly blatant anti-democratic endeavours and the associated contempt for humanity. The Presidential Board of the Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg fully endorses this statement.
