Getting to know the respective research cultures in technical chemistry and Computing Science and facilitating an intensive exchange: that was the aim of a visit by students, doctoral students and lecturers from the partner university Voronezh to Oldenburg.

The programme included visits to student councils, lectures and a Computing Science doctoral student workshop. Doctoral students from Voronezh and Oldenburg presented their work on the topic of "ExploIT Dynamics". "In addition to the intensive discussion of Oldenburg's range of courses in Computing Science, lectures with Lego robots and the activities of Business Informatics on environmental reporting were of particular interest to our guests," says Prof. Dr Andreas Winter from the Department of Computing Science, who organised the delegation trip together with Prof. Dr Dr Frank Rößner and draws a positive conclusion: "We were able to get a good overview of computer science research in Russia." It has now been possible to extend the existing excellent co-operation with chemistry to Computing Science.
