The working group focuses on innovation research. We analyse the social dynamics in sustainability transitions, especially in the energy sector. In addition, we investigate collaborative innovations in and between organizations. We are particularly interested in the collaboration of heterogeneous actors in organizations and regions, taking into account their embeddedness into national and global systems. We have expertise in transition research, innovation research, organizational sociology and economic geography.
