Student associations (university groups)

From 1 January 2025, the regulations for the registration of student associations at the University of Oldenburg will come into force.

All pre-existing student associations known to Division 3 will be contacted in good time to allow them to register properly.

The following information is required for registering/re-registering a student association:

  • Name of the acting chairperson (must be enrolled at the UOL)
  • Contact person with contact details (must be enrolled at the UOL)
  • Five other members enrolled at the UOL
  • Valid enrolment certificates of all named members
  • Total number of members of the student association
  • The statutes of the student association in German

Registering a student association

To register a student association, the registration form must be completed online.

Re-registering a student association

In order to prove the continued existence of an association, the re-registration form must be completed online at the beginning of each summer semester (starting in 2026).
