The kick-off seminar for the "Wodór dla Top Menedżerów" program took place in Görlitz at the weekend. It is offered by the C3L - Center for Lifelong Learning at the University of Oldenburg and the University of Hanover in cooperation with Studium Wodoru. The six-month course teaches participants how to assess, initiate and manage hydrogen projects. It is aimed at employees in companies and public institutions.
The cross-border cooperation is intended to accelerate the transition to renewable energies. The city of Oldenburg is sponsoring the training, while other partners include the Oldenburg Energy Cluster and the European City of Görlitz-Zgorzelec. At the three-day kick-off seminar, the participants were welcomed by the supporters of the program and by Torsten Göhler, Deputy Consul General of the Federal Republic of Germany in Wrocław. Prof. Dr.-Ing. Richard Hanke-Rauschenbach from the University of Hanover introduced the topic with an overview of the function of hydrogen in the defossilization of the energy system.
The successful program has been offered since 2022. The next "Hydrogen for specialists and managers" training course starts in mid-August.
