Certificate Programmes
The University of Oldenburg runs part-time certificate programmes through C3L. These programmes offer working professionals the possibility to continue their education at the university level. The following certificates (based on the Swissuni model) are available:
- DAS Diploma of Advanced Studies (workload: minimum 900 hours and 30 credit points)
- CAS Certificate of Advanced Studies (workload: minimum 300 hours and 10 credit points)
- Module Certificate (after completing a single module)
- Certificate of Attendance (after attending a continuing education course)

Many of these certificate programmes are compact versions of our part-time degree programmes. In most cases, your certificate – individual module, CAS or DAS – can be counted towards a degree programme later on. Please consult the advisor for the relevant degree programme to find out more.
Approbation
Another C3L continuing higher education format are state training programmes leading to Approbation (a licence to practice for Psychological Psychotherapy and for Psychotherapy for Children and Youths).

Continuing higher education at C3L is made up of the following departments:
Education & Management
Continuing education for professionals in the areas of Education, Health, Culture, Management, Law, and Social Economy.
Counselling & Conflict Management
Post-graduate continuing education in the areas of Counselling, Coaching, and Conflict Management.
Psychotherapy
Training courses in psychotherapy for psychologists and educators, at the end of which successful participants are licenced to practice through the Approbation.
