Assistant and doctorate also in Bayreuth in the field of statistics with Prof. Dr Helmut Rieder, for dissertation "Approaches to the Robustification of the Kalman Filter" Prize of the Stochastics Section of the German Mathematical Society DMV
Post-doc and further specialisation in robust statistics and contributions to the statistical software R in Bayreuth.
2008 Transfer to the Department of Financial Mathematics at the Fraunhofer Institute for Industrial Mathematics ITWM in Kaiserslautern, where he worked on and managed numerous industrial projects with partners in the financial sector and on the topic of fraud detection
At the same time, continued research activities and habilitation at the TU Kaiserslautern in 2011 with the reviewers Profs. Jürgen Franke (TU Kaiserslautern), Stephan Morgenthaler (EPF Lausanne) and Roland Fried (TU Dortmund).
