Der renommierte Regisseur Christian Petzold ist am Freitag, 18. Juli, zu Gast des Seminars „Audiovisual Film Studies“ am Institut für Kunst und visuelle Kultur der Universität Oldenburg.

Der renommierte Regisseur Christian Petzold ist am Freitag, 18. Juli, zu Gast des Seminars „Audiovisual Film Studies“ am Institut für Kunst und visuelle Kultur der Universität Oldenburg.

Petzold, der 2012 für seinen Film „Barbara“ den Silbernen Bären der Berlinale erhielt, zeigt um 19.00 Uhr in Raum A8 0-001 seinen Film „Yella“ und diskutiert anschließend mit Studierenden über deren Video-Essays. Zu Petzolds bekanntesten Werken zählen „Wolfsburg“ (2003), „Gespenster“ (2005) und „Jerichow“ (2008).

Die Video-Essays der Studierenden entstanden im Seminar „Audiovisual Film Studies“, das der Drehbuchlektor Michael Baute am Institut für Kunst und visuelle Kultur unterrichtet. Baute nahm Petzolds „Yella“ zum Ausgangspunkt der Video-Essays, die den Film auf jeweils verschiedene Weise interpretieren und analysieren.
