The many fans of the Oldenburg Science Slam will soon enjoy another exciting slam competition.
On November 29, 2023 at 7 p.m., it's time again for "3, 2, 1: Science Slam"!!!
Up to 240 people can join in the excitement at this great event. We have brought together great slammers who will present their research topics on stage in a 10-minute, generally understandable, scientifically sound and often very entertaining talk. Without giving too much away - they come from various disciplines at the university and this year we also have some who work at external research institutes but are doing their doctorate at UOL. This means that unusual topics will be presented and thus compete for the audience's favor.
Not to forget our famous power point karaoke at the end of the evening - also a treat when two seasoned professors compete against each other without a clue.
Registration for the slam event is still possible: for internal guests via Stud.IP (Science Slam 2023) and for external guests via e-mail to scienceslam@uol.de
