Career Day Neuroscience
Welcome to the website of the "Career Day Neuroscience"
The "Career Day Neuroscience" was organised for the first time in 2013 at the University of Oldenburg. It was initiated by the then coordinator of the "Neurosensory Science" doctoral degree programme, Dr Kathrin Henrichs, and the then Managing Director of the Research Centre Neurosensory Science, Dr Beate Grünberg.
The "Career Day Neuroscience" now looks back on a certain tradition and is a recognised event at the School V - School of Medicine and Health Sciences. Every year, Master's students, primarily from the Neuroscience and Neurocognitive Psychology Master's programmes, as well as many other interested Master's students and doctoral candidates, come together to engage in lively discussions with invited speakers, HR managers from industry and university alumni about career planning during and after their studies.
In small discussion rounds, the sometimes crucial details in the CV are mentioned and ideas for meaningful study specialisations or further education are developed. Professional career counsellors usually round off the day with a CV check.
