The Oldenburg Network for Science Communication (OLWIK) is preparing the next Pub Science Event in Oldenburg: on Thursday, September 19, 2024, scientists will once again present themselves with two short scientific talks each in eight Oldenburg pubs.
We are once again offering a variety of topics from marine sciences, neurosciences, technology, health, computer science and education and would like to show the interested public: Science in Oldenburg is anything but dry as dust, but is also present and exciting in public.
The program and further information will soon be available at https://hirnvomhahn.de/hirn-vom-hahn-wissen-frisch-gezapft/
The evening is organized by the Oldenburg Network for Science Communication (OLWIK). The organizing team consists of: Dr. Jens-Steffen Scherer (Research and Transfer Department, OL University), Lennart Book (Schlaues Haus OL), Katrin Keller (Research Department, Jade-HS), Verena Niesel (DIZ, OL University), Dr. Nina Gaßmann (Neurosensorics Research Center, OL University), Britta Müller (OFFIS), Stefanie Winner (Helmholtz Institute for Functional Marine Biodiversity), Simone Wiegand (DFKI), Sabine Alexandre-Klein (ESCI gGbmH) and other temporary collaborators.
This year, Dr. Patrick Dömer from the Department of Neurosurgery will be competing on behalf of the Neurosensory Research Center - we wish him every success!!!
