Digitalisation in examination administration has gathered pace at the University of Oldenburg since the decision of the Presidential Board on 16/06/2020 to make online examination administration compulsory for the assessment formats of seminar papers, written exams, portfolios and formal presentations. Online examination administration is an important and fundamental component of university administration and must constantly be adapted and developed to meet the needs of all members of the university.

Paperless organisation of examinations is the answer to increasing digitalisation in all areas of society and is intended to provide lecturers with further opportunities in examination administration.  It enables the process of examination administration to be carried out quickly, simply and online.
