What is Language Dynamics?

The Master's degree in "Language Dynamics: Acquisition, Variation, Change" covers in particular the areas of psycholinguistics, language contact and language change, and in addition offers the opportunity to work on ongoing research projects. This diversity allows you to determine your own individual focus of study and thus to study exactly what you enjoy and are most interested in. Due to the diverse orientation of the teaching staff, you can choose from the following foci:

Psycholinguistics

  • First and Second Language Acquisition
  • Language (Acquisition) Disorders
  • Language Processing

Language System Studies

  • Language Change phenomena
  • Graphemics and Intonation

Language Contact Studies

  • Mixed Languages
